Tooth-colored fillings are made out of biocompatible materials that require less extensive preparation than traditional silver fillings. Because tooth-colored fillings require minimal drilling, they are usually smaller and quicker to place than silver fillings.
During a standard dental cleaning, our hygienist will gently remove plaque and tartar from the surface of your teeth. We then take digital X-rays and intraoral images of your teeth, gums, and jaw so that we can see the very first signs of possible dental problems.
After your dental cleaning, Dr. Hoang or Dr. Vo will perform a thorough examination of your mouth. They will also review your X-rays and digital photographs with you and discuss any areas of concerns. There will also be time to talk about any cosmetic treatments you’ve been considering for your smile.
Dr. Hoang and Dr. Vo can prescribe Arestin®, an antibiotic powder that can stop the gum infection right where it starts. After a deep cleaning, our doctors will simply apply Arestin to the small space between your tooth and gum tissue. The antibiotic stays in place for up to three weeks to clear up your gum infection to a level that can be managed with routine dental cleanings.
Mini dental implants can make it easier to smile with confidence and eat the foods you love. MDIs are smaller than conventional implants, which makes them an excellent way to stabilize loose dentures, and our doctors can often place MDIs in just one visit!!
MDIs are very small titanium posts that serve as retaining fixtures for dentures. They can be placed in both the upper and lower jaws and, thanks to the biocompatible properties of titanium, they fuse with the jaw bone to become a solid anchor for denture stabilization.

Unfortunately, toothbrushes cannot always reach down into the deepest spots of our teeth. To help deter food particles and plaque from getting into these deep crevices, we can place dental sealants. Dental sealants are a resin material that bonds into the grooves of teeth, creating a barrier against food particles, plaque, and acidic foods and drink.
